This is a rather unusual unit in the Radar Room collection, donated by the Defence Electronics History Society. Many thanks! Restoration of this indicator will have to be completed on the cosmetic front, as we feel there is still a little too much rust prevalent. The internals however, are fully restored and working properly as the circuitry is quite straight forward. There are in fact six valves inside, plus the ‘magic eye’ indicator tube seen on the front panel, so we didn’t need a circuit diagram in order to action this. With that said, it would be nice to see a manual at some point to learn a little more about its intended usage. |
