Test Set 73

Air Ministry Test Set Type 73

Test Set 73

Like our similar Air Ministry Test Set Type 43, this is an almost unknown piece of 40s equipment. Whilst the outside was in a very clean condition when received, the same could not be said for the interior as it looked as if a bomb had been let off inside! Another rebuild from the ground-up has given the Radar Room another fully functioning piece of useful test eequipment. Again, like our Test Set 43, it utilises the popular VCR138 cathode ray tube.

This equipment was kindly donated to the ‘RADAR ROOM’ by the Defence Electronics History Society  Thank you!
